Babinda Kayak Hire - kayaking adventure near Cairns and Innisfail as low as $35 for half a day


The Tourist season is here and conditions remain fantastic for a paddle. If you have come for a paddle in the past or plan to in the future, you will discover that this is a great little adventure to share with your visitors. Not only is it cheap, but Babinda is a fantastic destination to spend a day exploring and giving your guest a real taste of the Far North. (see our Self Tour Suggestion page). We continue to offer return paddlers a 20% discount for 12 months off their kayak hire, which will make it even cheaper to keep coming back for a paddle. (No other discounts apply with this card)

All Hirers Must produce Photo identification and sign a hire agreement form and Liability waiver prior to taking kayaks.

START TIMES ARE NOT FLEXIBLE, PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME; Our hire operation is different to others as we need to schedule in pick-up's and prepare for other customers. Please do not arrive any more than 15 minutes early. 8am paddlers must be ready for pick-up no later than 12.00pm (to allow us to cater for 1pm bookings) There are no picnic facilities at the start location.

Hires are conditional on weather conditions and may be cancelled at the last minute. Kayak hire is also conditional upon signing a liability waiver for each participant. Children under 18 will need parent/guardian signature.
handy info It is possible to kayak to the 2nd pick-up point comfortably in half a day. A full day's hire is designed for people who want to spend the day on the creek without time constraints.

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS: Bookings for 10 or more paddlers require a deposit of 25% by bank transfer. This is fully refundable if 48 hours notice of cancellation is given. For less than 48 hours notice, deposits are non refundable (extreme weather ie. heavy rain and flooding is excluded and deposits will be fully refunded). For numbers of less than 10 or last minute group bookings, deposits are not required on booking however, if groups arrive with less numbers than the amount of kayaks they booked, the 15 % discount for groups will not apply. We would greatly appreciate being notified of any change in numbers or cancellations as soon as possible so we can make the kayak available for other bookings. Thankyou
